The burn time of a soy candle depends on the candle's size and other factors, but generally, soy candles can burn for 20–85 hours: 

• Small candles: Burn for 20–30 hours
• Medium candles: Burn for 50–60 hours
• Large candles: Burn for up to 90 hours

You can estimate a candle's burn time by using the "hours per ounce" method. For example, if a soy candle weighs 8 ounces and soy wax typically burns for 7 hours per ounce, the candle's burn time would be 56 hours. 

Other factors that can affect a candle's burn time include: 

• The type of wax used
• The number of wicks
• Air movement in the environment
• The amount of oxygen available
• The surrounding temperature
• The material of the wick

Soy candles typically last longer than paraffin candles of the same size because soy wax burns more slowly and at a cooler temperature.

•  Keep candles at least 12 inches away from anything that can burn
• Place candles out of reach of children and pets
• Always burn candles within sight
• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting
• Only burn candles on a level, fire-resistant surface
• Don't burn candles for more than four hours at a time
• Stop using the candle when only ¼ inch of wax remains
• Blow out candles when you leave the room or go to bed
• Don't use lit candles in bedrooms, bathrooms, or sleeping areas
• Keep the candle free of matches, wick trimmings, and other debris
• Never touch or move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is still liquid
• Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too high or starts to soot visibly
